As in the two past years, no reason to be disappointed: the classics are back! Meat dumplings, blini and sõir cheese! Just as good, maybe even a little better than before. Once again the Coffee Hut team has outdone itself and will serve meadowsweet-rhubarb drink, chanterelle soup and a number of new delicacies. There will be a mini-market and crafts workshop.
We’ve put in some work and if you wish, we can take you on a tour of our grand renovated kitchen and the new incarnation of a narrow corridor. Come and see for yourself!
If you’re interested, a local historian will talk about history and events that have taken place in this former schoolhouse. A house where culture is made and which now hosts the coffee hut.
Instrumental music is also a part of our café. Inara herself plays the karmoshka and will regale listeners with amazing adventures that transpired while travelling around Estonia with a karmoshka band. In the evening, you can learn Seto dances accompanied by karmoshka.
Wondering whether it’s worth the trip? It is, DEFINITELY. The Kohvitarõ team will provide service to you in the best spirit of hospitable, delectable Setomaa. Crafts, sõir, homemade bread and preserves, pies and dumplings are available for purchase, too.
