Kalamaitse majakas (Fish Lighthouse)

In serving as a beacon for people arriving, a lighthouse has served to both guide and warn. Our little fish-themed lighthouse shows the way to local food. The fishermen’s wives here will serve you Peipus lake fish and dishes made from the traditional Estonian roasted flour, kama, along with many other tasty specialities.

Expecting
that you’ll come by in search of new flavours,
we don’t have time to sit.
Are you coming?
Accustomed
to finding rays of light only on high,
instead this one emanates from a small tower.
You’re going the right way, drop your anchor and stay with us a while!

While the delicacies are prepared in the kitchen, you can pass the time in a number of different ways. We’re planning a lawn game where one can “reel” in prizes, local products, crafts will be on sale, and of course, we have a million-euro view of the lake...
