At the Kin’s Cafe (Umaste tsäimaja), you are first greeted with a little surprise by the host Arno. In the menu, we have a rich variety of soups – duck solyanka, sauerkraut borch, pumpkin and vegetable soup. We also serve pancakes made with goose eggs and served with strawberry, raspberry and blueberry jelly, as well as mushroom pie with tea. As an exclusive special, you can have goose, duck or chicken eggs, sunny-side up, served with bacon and fresh salad straight from the garden. For vegetarians, we have vegetable patties with a side, fried mushrooms with potatoes, zucchini dishes etc. There are sõir (local homemade cheese), hand-made preserves, different beverages and handicraft on sale.
There is lots to see and do in the farmstead. The yard is filled with flowers, just sit and enjoy. There are also workshops where you can practise mowing with a scythe, cut trees with a traditional two-men saw and chop wood. Everyone will receive an award for the effort! There are also different domestic birds in the farmstead. We have summoned some musicians who play music on every full hour. Take your you own instrument and play as well! Every registered guest who has made a purchase will take part in the lottery where we decide by lot three awards – Christmas geese or a basket full of home-made preserves.
Open on Saturday 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
