Come and taste what we’ve thought up this time and see what has changed over the last year. As to what exactly is on the menu, whether it’ll be raw buckwheat (the big favourite of the village women) or something else, that will be revealed a week or two before Pop-up Café Day. But we can promise that the ingredients will come largely from our own farm and village. No doubt some lambs will be slaughtered a bit early and the village’s chickens will time their peak in the first few weeks of August. Dairy products are from Nopri or local goat farmers.

On Pop-up Café Day we’ll gather on 143-year-old Rikka Ivvani farm. The farm shop founded by Ivvan in 1905 carries wares from the village and surroundings. We’ll have activities for big and small. The farm has sheep and a cat.

As Pop-up Café Day approaches, we might develop some other ideas for surprising you, so let’s be friends and check out our ads on the Pop-up Café Day FB page. If you play an instrument, take it with you – there will be an open stage.

We’ll start Saturday at 11am with coffee and cake, and at 12 noon, the family will tell the story of Rikka-Ivvani farm. We will serve hot food from 13:00.
