The courtyard of this 150-year-old farm invites you to enjoy homemade flavours prepared mainly from ingredients grown on the farm and sourced from the local village.

This summer, once again, Küllätüvä village is looking forward to one of those lovely August days when the scent of ripening crops fills the air and summer seems in no hurry to end. Life in this border village moves at its own pace, and the yard of the 150-year-old Rich Ivan’s Farm is once again ready to welcome visitors – come and see what has changed over the past year and how life is going here.
As always, exactly what will be served will be decided shortly before Seto Kostipäiv, but we can promise one thing – most of the ingredients will come from our own farm and village. Our dairy products come from Nopri Farm, and the eggs from the hens of Paloka Farm in Ulaskova village. We shall see what kind of menu the hostess comes up with this time.
We will also throw open the doors of the farm shop – the very same one that Rich Ivan established at the farm in 1905. During Seto Kostipäiv, it will mainly be run by the younger generation of our family. If there is a little time left between serving customers, the young master of the farm has promised to play a few tunes on the guitar or garmon.
On Saturday at 12:00, our hostess Sigre will step out of the kitchen for a while and, together with the host Ain, tell the story of Rich Ivan’s Farm (as long as there is still someone who has not heard it). After that, we will simply go with the easy rhythm of Kostipäiv – everything happens when the time is right. The only other times worth remembering are 12:30 and 14:00. That is when Merca will lead her famous Küllätüvä storytelling walks through our village. The walks start behind the gate of Rikka Ivvani Farm! You can pay for the storytelling walk by making a contribution to Merca’s donation box.
As Seto Kostipäiv approaches, we may come up with a few more good ideas to surprise you, so follow Rich Ivan’s Farm on Facebook and keep an eye on the Seto Kostipäiv Facebook page. Musicians, bring your instruments – the open stage is waiting for you. There is plenty of space in the farmyard to run around, do somersaults or simply lie back and relax. There is also a table tennis table, darts and badminton rackets.
