2. Linnusõbra pesä (Sat & Sun)

We offer your taste buds genuine, pure homemade food. The birds and little goats are already waiting for treats, hoping you'll share a few bites with them.

Marta talu, Toomasmäe, Setomaa vald

Open on Saturday and Sunday

MENU HITS:

  • Lamb baked in the ground
  • Farm-style solyanka (a hearty traditional soup)
  • Goat meat sausages with chili, sun-dried tomato, and walnut
  • Warm sandwich with a bit of meat and a fried egg
  • Tasty cakes and drinks

Birds, animals, joyful movement, delicious homemade food, and a theatrical experience — that’s what we offer in our yard under the shade of the oak tree. Everything is authentic and homegrown, cared for by the family who lives and works here daily.

This year, Linnusõbra Pesä is collaborating with the Söön & Liigun team to bring children joy through movement and healthy food experiences! Take part of the activities on Saturday, August 9th at 13:00 and 16:00. A surprise gift will be given to participants.

Sunday, August 10th at 13:00, the Alle-Saija Theatre will perform Andrus Kivirähk’s comedy “Swallows of the Fatherland.”

As always, our menu includes tasty cakes and drinks, but this year eggs take the spotlight as the main theme.

In addition, we’ll be weaving on a loom, painting, and petting goats, which you can also feed. You’re welcome to visit the café with your pet, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the animal area.

Come spend a lovely weekend with us!
