There is a small port at the beach of the Värska health resort center. In summertime, you can go cruising on the Seto Line boats, as the surrounding waterbodies offer great opportunities for fun rides. The cruises leading to the Värska Bay run along the close vicinity of the Estonian-Russian border, enabling you to take a peek into the life of coastal villages and the fishermen on both sides of the bay, in different countries. The evening cruises are called Sunset cruises, with a good reason: the Värska Bay and Lake Pskov are especially beautiful and quiet in the evening light.
Another ride takes you on a cruise along the Värska River and then circles around at Lake Õrsava. The views from atop the boat provide fresh and different views to the village of Värska. You can see the church as well as the newly constructed promenade and port. On the coast of Lake Õrsava the Värska visitor center, a beautiful Art Noeveau building, catches the eye. You can spot several other buildings of the Northern camp on the coast.
