The most popular procedures in the sanatorium are mud baths and mineral water baths, while Värska is the only place in the Baltics where one must actually climb into the mud bath. Värska SPA is also the only water park in Estonia that uses natural mineral water. Both the water park and the sanatorium are located in a very nice place, in a pine forest on the shore of Värska Bay. The mud comes directly from the lake bottom and mineral water from the ground. It offers a real "vacation at the spring of life," as the center's slogan says.
