The Orava Hunting Club (MTÜ Orava Jahtkond) was founded in 2015, and in 2016 we began renovating our farm to create better conditions for community events. We've been interested in participating in Kostipäev for years, and in 2025, we finally joined as participants.
Menu Focus:
Our menu features dishes made from game and forest products. The main ingredient for 2025 is wild boar, offered in various dishes. For dessert, we use local forest and garden produce. Some menu highlights include wild boar schnitzel, wild boar burgers, and berry cake with ice cream.
We also have activities for younger guests, such as a trampoline and a visit to the hunting lodge, where they can meet and learn about forest creatures. There will be surprise events to enhance the atmosphere and make the day even more enjoyable.
We invite you to visit our “Orava Jahimaja” café and experience it all. You are welcome!

Note: To reach the café, drive through Hanikase village. GPS may guide you through a railroad culvert that is not passable for cars.
